Ego Is the EnemyEgo Is the Enemy by Ryan Holiday

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A useful inspirational book about how ego drives us in inappropriate and wrong-headed ways. The book is full of helpful examples from the worlds of politics, business, sports, and the arts. The writing is clear, direct, and concise. In our ego-driven culture, this book serves an important function, inviting us to step back and examine what's truly important (the news these days is full of people not doing exactly that) and introducing readers to Stoic philosophy.
