Sleeping BeautiesSleeping Beauties by Stephen King

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

All the women in the world are falling asleep and not waking up, wrapped in a cocoon. If the cocoon is broken, they become violent and crazed. I admit to being disappointed in this one. It dragged quite a bit for me, especially in the middle, and was predictable. The strength of these two writers and its premise is what kept me interested. It feels forced at times and, while there are creepy and thoughtful moments, its discussions of sex and race are a bit superficial.
