Improving

A bit better today, after much, much, much resting. I did not go to work; I slept most of today. Pretty much through the hours most people work. I feel a bit better now, though not 100%. My throat is still a bit scratchy (but much better than yesterday) and my headache is only intermittent now, instead of constant. Baby steps.

So, needless to say, I got little accomplished today. I did read some, though. I finished Astro City: The Tarnished Angel which I started last night. I also read Astro City: Life in the Big City. It's official; I love this series. As I think I mentioned, I have already read Confession. I have a copy of Family Album waiting for me at the foot of my bed.

Recently, too, I have finished the second volume of G.I. Joe, which has just completely sucked me in, and Clan Apis, which was wonderful. I still have The Sandwalk Adventures, as well.

Tonight, I also watched I, Robot. No true fan is going to mistake it for Asimov, but I was entertained. The effects are really good (although there is sometimes too much reliance on them), and the pacing of the story is good (is it just me or are a lot of movies these days boring?).

Whenever I'm sick, I'm inclined to depression and introspection, and I'm working hard at avoiding both. Just don't feel like dealing with my own crap. Shortly, I'll go to sleep. The Bottle Rockets are fun, helpful in stopping dwelling on myself, in particular, "Indianapolis."

Ugh, time for medicine . . .

did the salt water gargle help at all? I hope so. Glad to hear that you are feeling better, at least a little bit.
