It's been an eventful few weeks, I suppose.
I miss Kentucky. It often amazes me how different two places can be when they're separated by only a couple of hours of driving.
Saturday, I head to Denver for the annual AALL conference. I've never been there so I'm looking forward to it. As with much traveling, I'm looking forward to being in a new place, but not looking forward to the actual time en route.
We've hit the long, hot dog days of summer here. Which means it's hot and humid and the library is practically deserted, except for the few (poor) souls studying for the bar exam at the end of this month.

In short, boring. As complaints go, it's not a bad one. But boredom has its own tedium that wears you down. I just haven't figured out what to do about it yet.
