This weekend, rosepurr and I celebrated two years of being together as a couple. It has been a remarkable two years. When I look back on it, a lot has happened. And yet rosepurr feels as though as she has been a very important part of my life for much longer than that, in a good way. I'm very lucky.

I arrived in L'ville Friday night and we went to Check's for dinner (mmm, BLT) and then we went out with maxsilver to TGI Friday's for trivia and appetizers. Saturday was incredibly busy, and is something of a blur. I know we exchanged gifts (my sweetie gave me a fantastic flask, lined with suede - very swanky) and had a fabulous meal at Diamonte. I know we ran a bunch of errands, including ordering some new eyeglasses for rosepurr, but the whole day (and it was only yesterday) flew by. It was a wonderful day, though.

Today was largely about wedding-related errands. We went to get the engagement ring (finally) fitted and cleaned. rosepurr had to work this afternoon at Celebrations so I joined here there to pick out Xmas, save the date, and thank you cards. So much to do . . .

But it was a fabulous weekend. And now, after my four-hour drive, I'm tired. And tomorrow is Day 1 of trying to get up earlier.

Phew. I'm tired.
