Worst. Person. Ever.Worst. Person. Ever. by Douglas Coupland

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Raymond Gunt is a terrible person, though he does not think so. Further, he works in television and is surrounded by equally (or perhaps even more) terrible people. He is on his way to film a new season of a Survivor-like reality show, and his adventures lead him across continents with interactions with many horrible people.

This is a raunchy satire of modern culture that will not appeal to everyone (there is lots of scatalogical & bodily humor as well as foul language), but it is often darkly funny with sharp insights into contemporary culture (in particular, the British observations of American culture) that Coupland is known for.

[I received this book through Netgalley.]
